03.13.2021 Hop Brook

Another from this location.  I haven’t posted one from here in a while but it is a favorite to visit. Once a part of the M-M  Trail (from Metacomet, CT to Monadnock, NH mountains) and now part of the New England Trail (NET), this is just one of the many Hop Brooks found in New England. There is a waterfall upstream that I posted from ten years back that I haven’t revisited since.  The trail has been redirected to avoid private property and I need to try that out.

  3. I recently asked whether you’d ever before included four photographs in one post. The 2011 post you linked to had five pictures.

I always enjoy seeing through the water to the underlying rocks. The rivulets on the right are cute; they’re a nice complement to the larger flow.
