I don’t remember ever making one quite like this either. The crescent is probably made a bit more noticeable by the light vignette I applied.

The swirls and striations make this an exceptionally active image. There’s an almost pinwheel-like effect going on, and it’s exciting in a way some of your smoother water images aren’t. I really like it.

I enjoyed the way the rock takes on a very different shape than we might expect and also the movement around it. It’s a bit unique I think so there is that as well. The same old smae old does get boring after a while. And different can be exciting too.

As others have said this is a very unusual image but also very interesting and beautiful. It really does leave one to ponder what they’re seeing. And speaking of which, nicely seen. 🙂
