Here’s one more from the nice weather we had last Monday morning.

North-Quabbin-Shoreline-Gate-37-2-032116-960There is a little falling snow evident in the foreground and the distance is a little obscured by the combination of snow and thin fog.  Neither happening this morning as it is a bit overcast with a slight breeze and above freezing.  The sun shines later and we hit the 50’s again.  The earliest of the ephemerals should be stirring any day now.

  3. This is one of my favorite photos that you have posted. It could pass as a lovely card and I hope that you print this one.

I came across the phrase “decorator snow” this week: that is, snow that’s pretty, without being an aggravation. It seems to me that’s what you have here. It’s exceptionally pretty, but it’s clearly fragile. A little sun, a little wind, and — it’s gone. Lucky us, to have your photo to enjoy when the snow has given way to flowers.
