Here’s a green frog-Lithobates clamitans from 2009. I made a bunch of frog shots last weekend but wasn’t thrilled with any of them so dug into the archives and found this one that had never been processed.
Most of my shots of frogs are in the water or on lily pads. This guy appears to be liking his muddy spot.
It has been waiting for its chance to shine! Looks pleased and surprised and amazed besides to be on this page at last.

I always find it gratifying when a look through old pictures reveals a good one we’d forgotten. It makes me wonder what other treasures lie in store.
