That is Mount Lizzie behind the pines and, of course, the overlapping hills on the right.
If you are wondering about the title, it comes from one of my favorite pieces of jazz. Just close your eyes, imagine being on the shoreline at Quabbin and relax. 🙂

Speaking of music, your title reminded me of Jack Tempchin’s song “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” popularized by The Eagles. Perhaps you even saw an eagle on your morning outing.

What a fabulous piece of music! It suits your photo perfectly, particularly the beginning (as it builds quite energetically later on).
As to your capture, I could easily sit and enjoy that view for hours and happily lose track of the time, which is actually my criteria for an excellent view.

I’ve always enjoyed Miles Davis and this piece especially. I’ve listened to it while working out in the morning…albeit not too often, unfortunately…while processing images, while reading, it just suits so many times when mellow music seems appropriate.

Beautiful image and the jazz is great. I can’t quite put the two together though because jazz always brings warm images to my mind. I suppose that’s because my first real introduction to jazz came when we lived in Botswana. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSi000i13VA

I try not to overdo it with the music…plus I don’t really have a feel for what works with what. But the image just said the title to me and I remembered this piece.
