Your bee’s quite handsome. I’d never heard of World Bee Day, but it seems like a fine occasion. If I’d known about it, I would have posted about the rooftop beekeepers of Paris.
That makes sense. Many chefs have their own fresh herb gardens so why not hives? Not to minimize World Bee Day or their importance but it seems everyday is a World Day for something now. How about World Wildflower Photographer Day?

I always love the metallic-looking insects, and those greens seem to work really well for that.

I was happy to have this one visit my boneset flowers. That plant attracts such a wide variety of species.
