Got three M’s going today and the first time that I have posted three in one day as well.
So this is another experiment but with the 180. It’s obviously a mushroom but, to paraphrase Minor White, what else is it?

I saw it as an elephant’s trunk.

Thank you, J.F. I appreciate that you enjoy the posts and your letting me know. I just read a few chapters of your book, “Reflections on a Life in Exile” on Amazon’s Look Inside and enjoyed several including the one about Blanche.

Oh, that’s a good one. Mushroom based, I hope. π

I’m afraid not. I was thinking of her potatis korv — a Swedish sausage made with potato, onion, pork, and beef.

Wow, I think this is extraordinary. I knew it was a mushroom but I’ve never seen one in this way. For that I thank you, and I also thank you for exercising the sharp, inquisitive, artistic eye you have. Form, composition, flow, presence….you’ve got it all here. Very exciting.

That’s quite a compliment and truly appreciated, Lynn. I worked hard and tried many compositions to get to this point. Thanks!

I can believe you worked to create this image because it’s such an unusual way to see the subject. Another thing I like is that the scale is ambiguous – it could be some monumental thing. The thrust of that edge is powerful, and sensual at the same time.

Wasn’t aware of him but wow those are some unusual buildings.

Steve! Gehry is the bomb. π If you are ever in proximity to one of his buildings, do see it. If you come out to the West coast, Seattle has a terrific example.
