02.27.2020 The First of the Seven Deadly Sins

It may sound like the start of a series but it really isn’t.  This is a source of pride however and my second for this magazine, Northern Woodlands.  If you are interested, here is the first.

Of course, even sweeter is the subject of the image.  🙂

About Steve Gingold

I am a Nature Photographer with interests in all things related. Water, flowers, insects and fungi are my main interests but I am happy to photograph wildlife and landscapes and all other of Nature's subjects.

What a fine image, and perfect for the cover. The text slips into the space filled by the trees quite nicely, leaving the flowers plenty of room to shine. Having a photo on a cover would be great enough, but having a favorite feature makes it even more special. Congratulations!

    • We discussed a few images and I offered a couple of others. The first one she asked about didn’t quite have enough head room and adding canvas was problematic. This one fit and I was glad that I had stopped the day I made this image. I almost walked right by it. Thank you.

Your modesty is unnecessary. It’s exciting to see your work on the cover of a magazine, and they didn’t ruin the image either. With your expertise, you should be on loads of covers! Congrats!
