Amoeba Wars (TM)

I was actually considering titling this post “Title Tuesday” because I wasn’t coming up with anything worth naming. That’s a good one.

Great minds, Mark and Mike. 🙂

Looking at the upper left corner by itself, I could believe the bubbles were liquid rather than frozen.

Yes, the foam does look liquid but everything you see here was frozen.

I see ET (albeit a bit of a funhouse mirror version)!

I am not seeing ET, but I am glad that you see something interesting here, Eliza.

Haha, and that is BEFORE the glass of wine. 😉

Maybe the wine is what I am lacking. 😀

Another very interesting abstract, Steve. I can actually see funhouse-version ET now that Eliza has mentioned it. 🙂

No matter how I try, I am just not seeing ET. No one has seen the sitting dog though. 🙂 Thanks, Lemony.

I most noticed and enjoyed the bit of clear ice in the midst of the bubbles. With that as the focal point, I would have titled this one “Island in the Stream.”

The clear ice was what attracted my attention at first. It looked like some air in some sort of a bladder or, on the level the title suggests, a vacuole.

The more of these you post, the more I understand your wonderment at how so many bubbles of different sizes manage to freeze this way. This is another beauty. I like the tiny bits of blue-green….

It’s endlessly fascinating, kind of like a kaleidoscope. I was happy to have the bits of color accenting the whole. Thanks, Lynn.

I am enjoying this “bubble” series. I find the abstracts pulling me, my mind trying to make something of the shapes. 🤚🏽

Thank you, Khürt. I’m glad you’ve been enjoying them. There are so many possibilities in ice scapes.
