02.10.2023 Not Quite the Racetrack PLaya
I guess I could fib and say I visited the Racetrack Playa with the roaming rocks in Death Valley based on sharing this image. But I’ve not been there at all. Instead I found these nice mud cracks at North … Continue reading
05.15.2021 Stair-step Moss

I’ll share two versions of one image. Actually it is one version but rotated for the second. I’ve shared images of Carter Pond and this one feature which offers some abstract compositions previously. But in reviewing old files I decided … Continue reading
08.24.2020-2 Bet you weren’t expecting this
I visited North Common Meadow, a Trustees of Reservations property in Petersham, MA this morning. The temp was cool and not a lot was happening. However, I saw this cattail stem and a leaf along with a couple of others … Continue reading

07.28.2020-2 Striped Maple Abstract
While walking in Bear Swamp last week looking for orchids, I came across a Striped Maple aka Goosefoot Maple-Acer pensylvanicum, just about a foot tall and laying on the ground. It was near the entrance and I guess that possibly … Continue reading

I visited Bear Swamp in Ashfield, MA the other day looking for orchids that were mentioned to me by a friend. I went to the wrong part of the fen at first but did eventually find the orchid on my … Continue reading

Something to share from the archives while I sort through what I will save when transferring to the new desktop. I’ve moved most of the stuff I want to keep to an external drive and, of course, all my image … Continue reading
