06.04.2022 Also after the rain but from the archives
Every once in a while I come across a file that I never processed. This can happen when you make too many images. Places like Wahconah Falls State Park have so much to explore with the camera that I often … Continue reading

03.15.2021 Textured Cascade
There is a very large rock at the edge of the Wahconah Falls Brook downstream from the waterfall. I enjoy how it deflects the streaming flow and reflects the light off the water as well.

11.06.2019 Wahconah Falls
I’ve posted images of this waterfall a few times over the years. It’s easily visited with just a short walk downhill…of course uphill on the way out, but quickly done. I’ve been fortunate that in all that time only one … Continue reading

07.02.2015 Wahconah Falls Brook
The brook is a few miles long, but this section is just a few feet, 100 or so, down brook from the falls. I am not sure if this would have benefited from a wade, but I liked the lineup … Continue reading

06.30.2015 Wahconah Falls 2…a long view
From further back with a wider view showing some of the Wahconah Falls Brook leading away from the falls. If I get out there again, I may try to get to the other side so I can place the downstream … Continue reading

06.29.2015 Wahconah Falls 1
Although it was still drizzling this morning I went for the one hour ride to Dalton and Wahconah Falls State Park. It was fairly foggy in the Berkshire foothills as I approached but there wasn’t a lot in the gorge … Continue reading

07.06.2014 Wahconah Falls….again.
I wonder…have I mentioned that I like to revisit places a lot? I have? 🙂 We just came out of two days of heavy rain, the second the result of Hurricane Arthur. We only got a glancing blow from the … Continue reading

09.12.2011 Wahconah Falls after the storms
After Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene and the better part of last week seeing steady rainfall, I thought Wahconah Falls was worth a visit. The trip out there along Route 9 saw many streams running pretty high. The Mill River in the … Continue reading
