You’ve found quite a few of these very sculptural shapes. Are they located where the air is almost completely still? Very interesting!

Fabulous title, Steve. And what an image, so crisp and improbable-looking.

    • Thanks, Lynn! Ice has so much to offer besides slip and fall law suits.😁

Groan…that brings to mind my own slip and fall, running on snow when I shouldn’t have been doing that, slipping on hidden ice underneath, and breaking part of my coccyx. Ow, that was painful! And I was starting a new job so for weeks, I limped through the offices on a cane. Not a good look. But I didn’t sue anyone!

      • Ouch! I’ve had similar happen but fortunately without serious injury. I’m lucky to have a hard noggin as I have fallen backwards on icy slopes and whacked the back of my head. Well, nothing serious that I can remember. 🙂
