02.17.2023 Fabulously Frozen Falls Friday

From the archives…as if a waterfall would have frozen like this during the current winter.  😛  That said, we are due for some teens tonight but it takes quite a number of cold days and nights in a row to create something as wild as this.

It seems my recent forays into the piney woods of east Texas are shaping my vision a bit. See the large, attractive pine cone in the middle of the frame? Apart from that, the pair of frozen cascades are especially interesting: such symmetry!

    • Thanks, Robert! As much as I am enjoying less bitter cold this year I do miss scenery like this. We’ve a bit of cold weather this weekend but I don’t think it will create anything similar.
