Had I worn my boots I’d have been in the water and more straight on but when it came time to go in I got cold feet.

  1. I’m glad you saved your feet (and yourself) from the freezing water, Steve.
The waterfall conjures soft velvet, whereas the surrounding ice formations look quite sharp.

The swath of green is a neat touch. Perhaps it’s Spring’s spring water, springing over the rocks!

The contrast between the sharpness of the ice and the softness of the water creates a tension that gives the image a dynamic feel. Glad you didn’t go into the water…your feet would have been not cold but frozen!

You captured the contrast between the solid and the fluid well. Good work, Steve; worth getting cold feet!

  10. That’s beautiful! I’ve been looking at Tiaras and gorgeous pendants and jewels recently so, the ice and snow look like jewels surrounding the cascading water.
