12.31.2022 Goodbye 2022! Hello 2023!

2022 hasn’t been an awful year compared to the last couple. Although Covid is still around, most of us have either had it without serious consequences, some with, and the rest either avoided it or had such slight symptoms that it wasn’t noticeable.  Mary Beth and I have had all five of our shots so when I did get it, and by reason of our proximity she also, it was very mild.  Hoping it continues to be less of a concern for everyone in 2023 and we all experience good health and good experiences. Prosperity too but health is key. Now if politicians and aggressive world leaders would just lighten up…

You’ve seen this view before if a regular visitor here.  It’s a favorite and I never tire of visiting Enfield Lookout at Quabbin Park..  Even on a poor light day the view is still pleasing. On this one the light was less than spectacular but the fog and overlapping hills and valleys overcome any conditions.

I remember how much I enjoyed the zig-zagginess of this view in the past. This is equally lovely, and equally appealing.

    • Thanks, Linda!
All those hills and valleys are what prompted the folks from Boston to take the land for their water supply. This view would still be as enjoyable without the reservoir although it requires a great deal of watershed protection which has saved the view from being full of condominiums I bet.
