09.22.2022 A little less “ick” factor.

This morning’s post was not exactly to everyone’s delight unlike mine.  🙂 I don’t remember being that little kid who chased the neighborhood girls with gross bugs and worms but maybe I was.  Hopefully this makes up for that.

  1. The scientific name seems to mean short-feathered conehead, but as far as I know, grasshoppers lack feathers. I wonder if it could refer to the grasshopper’s wings.
