It is probably just me but those feet are so cute.

I don’t know about sweet except that it makes a rhyme with feet. I’d say large.

Those feet, at least the hind ones, help us in the southeast separate the American Bullfrog from its very similar-appearing cousin, the Pig Frog (Lithobates grylio). On the hind feet of the latter, the webbing extends all the way out to the tips of the toes.
Sweet feet frogs, indeed!

The pigs must be better swimmers with those feet than the bulls. Extra push. The feet are one of two easy identifying features in distinguishing bull frogs from green frogs along with the back ridge.
“Oh, ain’t she sweet?
Well, see her sitting on that pad
Yes, I ask you very confidentially
Ain’t she sweet?”

I hoped to have a few Frog Friday shots for today. This morning we paddled through a Cypress Swamp, cameras at the ready. Gators but no frogs 😳😳. I didn’t know that could happen.

I’ve had a few mornings with few or no frog sightings. Since I go out in the early morning some days are cool enough that they stay submerged for a while.

I heard a few, this morning was a big swamp in a boat. Not a single chance even, just a sore back from paddling LOL.
