08.12.2022 Frog Friday Gray Tree Frog version

So this morning when I took Bentley out for his 3 a.m. business I thought I saw another leaf only this time on our house.  When I hit it with some light I saw that it wasn’t a leaf at all. After Bentley was done with his business and had his breakfast I went out, didn’t see the frog, and thought I had lost an opportunity but then noticed the frog had come to the light in my office window.

As with the bald-faced hornet last year, I saw the opportunity of a bottom view and went back in to get a look.

I like the eye between the toes and the look at the suction cups.

Here’s a closer view of the foot that I was able to make.

I did a little extra processing to improve the view of the cups.

So a double dip of Frog Fridays thanks to a friendly frog at 3 a.m. this morning.

In the second photo, he seems to be shielding his eyes from your light.

  3. Wow Steve! You have them trained to come to you instead of you looking for them!😊

It is astounding what a passionate photographer can discover at three o’clock in the morning.

He may have quite interested in bugs that flock to lit windows in the dark. He was looking for breakfast, just like your pup. Nifty encounter!
