I especially like the “X marks the spot” feel of the first image, but the details in both are wonderful.

The crossing blades are what first caught my eye. As I composed it I tried to arrange things so the details stood out too. Thanks, Linda!

Beautifully observed. I agree with Eliza, they are mesmerising. I like the detail of the stripes and the raindrop moving from one leaf to the next.
