How this landed in spam I don’t know, but I’m glad I found it. It’s a beautiful image, and the sepia tones suit it well.
Who is your ISP? I use Comcast/Xfinity and that happens often. Sometimes my own posts end up in the spam folder. It seems to be a WordPress thing though as it is almost all WP notifications that end up there of the legitimate notifications. And sometimes true spam doesn’t get blocked.
I’m glad that you found it too. Thanks, Linda!
I use Comcast, too. Now that I think about it, it tends to happen when someone uses a title that’s either a duplicate of a previous title or close to it. That sure would explain this one.
I wish that was all there is to it. It seems a bit more complicated on my end as lots of blog comments and even new posts end up in there. And occasionally a perfectly acceptable comment ends up in the WP blog folder. Which reminds me to go and check it.
Oh, wait. I use Comcast as a provider, but I use gmail. It’s really pretty good about the spam business.
Maybe I should try GMail and see if it does make a difference.
I usually only get one or two spams every week, and almost never get one that makes it past the filter.
Sure enough, 119 spams and 9 non-spams in WP’s folder.
Great streaks of light. I’d love to have been there to experience it.
Your company would have been welcome. The fog was moving fast and the patterns changing constantly so I really only got to stand and enjoy the spectacle once I stopped shooting. And as the sun above the clouds was shining in my eyes I couldn’t truly gauge the results until looking at the images on the computer. Ordinarily I toss a piece of black velvet over my head in that situation but forgot it. I cupped my hand over the LCD but it isn’t the same effect.
Wow that’s amazing!
Sorry for the late reply, Liz. The WP Spam monster was at it again. Thanks!
Thank you, Lakshmi!
And yes… absolutely stunning 👏👏👏👏
Thank you, Alessandra!
Yes! This photo is fantastic. I just love this and those like it. Clouds, fog, sun rays, tree tops. Perfect!
Thanks, Todd. I appreciate your enthusiasm.
Wow!!! What a gorgeous capture
Thanks very much, M.B.!
Very nice Foggy image! Enjoyed seeing it!
Thanks, Reed. Any place that is foggy is my happy place.
What a stunning image, Steve!
