The ice arc across the lower part of the photograph reminds me of a strand of seaweed.

Whatever one sees, I am glad the image offers more than ice.

Given the sharp, blade-like formations at the very bottom, I can’t help seeing some sort of marvelous creature on ice skates.

I saw some kind of saw teeth but I like your idea of a skater much better.

Nice musical interpretation, Robert. I like when one of my images suggests a variety of other things to folks. Thanks!

Otherworldly and yet, so of this Earth. That’s a gorgeous photo and doesn’t ice make for a good subject?

Ice challenges flowers and frogs for my favorite subject. The others still win over because of temperature but other wis it a close heat. 🙂 Thanks, Tina!

Beautiful photograph. I was not aware of the book, I must confess. It looks like a must read for photographers, so I bought a copy.

Extraordinary! The detail in this is absolutely beautiful and so crisp that it looks as if the edges of the ice are sharp enough to cut. It’s a picture I could look at for a long time… 🙂

It bet a good swing with this would make a deep cut. Those edges do look like blades. Thank you, Ann!

Just beautiful, Steve. The trapped leaf it a nice element, but it doesn’t stop my eye from exploring every inch of this photograph.
