09.07.2021 Two fer Tuesday…Zombie Moth

In this case two posts of the same subject.  The one this morning was taken on the outside of our back door.  As with the Bald-faced Hornet a while back, this was from the inside and an unusual look at the underside.

Bronzed Cutworm moth-Nephelodes minians

No doubt not quite as scary as the hornet. Sort of spooky looking though with the flash in the eyes making it look possessed.

  4. That would make a great Halloween costume. You’ve got 7 weeks to prepare it.
