08.27.2021 Frog Friday…What?!! You didn’t bring flies?

Sure looks like that’s what he’s thinking.

Flies for Frogs Universal said my order had shipped but apparently not in time for this little guy. Bummer!

Some behaviors appear cross-species. I have a young gray squirrel that gives me exactly that look. In squirreldom, it translates as, “Where’s my pecan?”

  I once delivered a chair to someone near the store. As I opened the door to leave a squirrel was sitting on the porch and looking like he would come in. When I mentioned it to the homeowner she said to just hold the door for him. In he came, hopped upon the sofa, then the end table where she kept his ration of peanuts.
