08.10.2021 Tuesday Twosome PG-13

I came upon these two doing their best to assure that there will be more Cabbage White butterflies-Pieris rapae  next year.

I guess eye contact isn’t that big a deal in the insect world.

  1. You’re right: butterfly anatomy precludes eye contact but facilitates other contact.

    • I am sure these two considered what they were doing to be pretty serious also. But I think I’ve a good idea that what you are talking about was probably much more stressful so I am glad to have provided a moment or two of relief. Thanks, Lori. I hope things eventually lightened up for you.
