Wow! Now that is a theme of green! I hope it was a pleasant scene and not like what we have here with an invasion of mosquitoes.

    • Mountain Laurel grows along this reservoir’s edge and I stopped for that reflection. But in looking around this view made me forget all about the flowers…for a while. Thanks, Lori! It was cool enough still that mosquitoes remained aslumber.

I like your green day far more than ‘that’ Green Day. I could spend some time with this one, but I’d only last a minute with them.

    • Some of their songs don’t put me off and the few live performances I’ve seen are okay. I wouldn’t spend money to see or hear them. OTOH, I would for this scene which looks far more pleasing than what was behind me.

  5. What would you think of cropping off the top half and showing only the reflection as a panoramic abstract image in its own right?

A slight breeze must have created enough motion in the water to create the impressionistic mood in your photo, Steve.

Ah, yes, I love these scenes. They seem so quiet, so peaceful, so calming, even though I realize it’s entirely possible it’s facing a busy highway. 🙂

    • I stop here a few times a year, especially now when the mountain laurel is blooming and there is a nice reflection. But you are absolutely correct. There is a main road behind me although not a busy highway. There is a fair amount of traffic although this was very early and not as many folks were driving by as would be at a later time.
