    The drops on this plant look like jewels showing colours and patterns of the leaf underneath. Well done, Steve!

    Maroon and lime is an interesting color combination, and an unusual one. The leaves’ texture seems almost fabric-like. With the drops standing at attention like that, it looks as though the fabric could have been treated with a water repellent.

    • Most of our peony plants have all green leaves but these are especially colorful which was magnified by the rain drops. You caught me with the repellent, Linda. LOL Surface tension caused these. In a way they remind me of the button penny candy on a long strip of paper we used to get as kids.
