    It takes a bold, strong tree to stand up to those colors. Even the ones on the horizon managed it; their presence is a nice complement to the big tree.

    I wonder how many striking sunrises and sunsets that mighty oak has taken in? Oaks are a timeless beauty.

    • No doubt hundreds at least. 🙂 Mostly sunrises as there is a wall of trees behind us here. The sunset I shared which included this tree on 3/26 shows a few of those trees and a nice sunset in the northern sky.
