Around the corner from yesterday’s post.
This tree has appeared here before. It will probably return again.
A wondrous sight Steve.. the tree is such a star and the sky colours are magic! Grateful.

Thank you, Liz! These are special times that just don’t happen often enough.
Beautiful sunrise Steve!
Such tranquil beauty…
Surprisingly it was tranquil, Eliza. This is on South Maple between the malls and Bay Road which can often be quite busy even in the morning but on this day nice and quiet.
As it should, Steve. It certainly has a presence and charisma! 🌳
Thanks, Tanja. I drive by this tree quite a few times each week and these moments are the special ones.
How lovely you get to see this tree regularly, Steve. It’s very majestic.
It is indeed, Tanja. I am fortunate to have a few spots where I can enjoy trees in the landscape at sunrise.
Lovely sunset and the silhouette of the tree complements it perfectly
Thank you, Ryan. Nature provides.
It takes a bold, strong tree to stand up to those colors. Even the ones on the horizon managed it; their presence is a nice complement to the big tree.

Agreed, they’re a great match!
I am always on the lookout for a lone tree. I think this qualifies even with those in the background. In summer it is in a cornfield. I thought keeping the silhouette totally shadowed made the best combination with that sky. Thanks!
Look at those colors! That’s a tree I certainly hope keeps appearing.
It shall, Todd, it shall. 🙂 Bright overcast is a good day for flowers but sometimes for sunrise as well. Thanks!
Thank you, Sharon!
Many happy returns!!
Thanks! I hope to share this three a few more times.
I wonder how many striking sunrises and sunsets that mighty oak has taken in? Oaks are a timeless beauty.
No doubt hundreds at least. 🙂 Mostly sunrises as there is a wall of trees behind us here. The sunset I shared which included this tree on 3/26 shows a few of those trees and a nice sunset in the northern sky.
If you continue like this with your brilliant sunrise photos, you will soon win the title Sunrise Master. Impressive, Steve!
I’ll keep at it, Peter. Thanks!
A beautiful sunrise and a lone tree after my own heart!
Thanks, Denise! I am envious of those wide open spaces out there where one can easily find lone trees or isolated groupings. OTOH, I am happy to live where forests rule. 🙂
Well, not easy to find here but I am always looking. You sure found a nice one!
