There is a very large rock at the edge of the Wahconah Falls Brook downstream from the waterfall. I enjoy how it deflects the streaming flow and reflects the light off the water as well.

Most of the time I see your flowing water as long hair. This is no exception.

The water’s hair is longer than my own…and thicker.

I like the way the smooth water on the left and the smooth rock on the right seems to contain all that watery chaos in the middle. The differences in the reflections (in the water, on the rock) are interesting, too.

I tried to emphasize the flow with those two elements and especially liked the reflected light on the rock. Thanks, Linda!

Hi Stephen – I found you site by searching on the Pelham Overlook. Have you ever tried to shot the Milky Way from there? My friends and I from the Springfield Photography Society might try this Saturday morning.

Hi, Larry. No, I haven’t tried to shoot the milky way anywhere and don’t know how it will appear over the Pelham Overlook. Good luck Saturday morning.

Thanks, Robert. It is a bit different and I heard somewhere that different is good.
