An alternative title was going to be winter’s bone saw but I thought that might be a little too chilling.

It was a lucky and happy discovery at the edge of the water. One of my favorites. I suppose a little spectral addition might have made it even better but I am satisfied with it.

Wow, this looks like something taken in the studio where you can perfectly control the lighting and environment, though I know that’s not the case. Another nicely seen abstraction.

I am always happy to find some black water to capture contrast. A lot of these images are made in thick woods so there are deep shadows which help. Thanks!
