I am a Nature Photographer with interests in all things related. Water, flowers, insects and fungi are my main interests but I am happy to photograph wildlife and landscapes and all other of Nature's subjects.
This spot is opposite a view that I have shot a few times and this one side other. The contrast was what caught my attention and fortunately I always slow down to take a look at both sides of the road. Thanks, Linda!
The bits of soft color really stand out with that dark background! So much detail to be seen in the slender tree trunks and the feathery-looking grasses.
Hi, Lori! When I first noticed this I considered black and white. But those bits of remaining leaves and grasses changed my intent. It is a bit chaotic but I think that works in this case. Thanks!
The delicate detail of the trees makes me feel as if they are caught up in a very still silence and just waiting for something… A lovely, atmospheric image!

The delicacy of the branches and the pastel colors make a good match, especially against that dark background.

Thanks, Reed. There is a lot of detail and I was happy to see the the Mark IV and Tamron 100-400 combo was able to keep it all sharp.

The dark background makes the trees in the foreground stand out all the more.

Thanks. I will admit to encouraging the contrast between front and back.

Your encouraging was well done and the result is quite striking.
