  1. Brrrr….I like the frozen mini-cascades on the right, and the horizontal/vertical contrasts.

    • I’ve been photographing this little waterfall for several years now and it always provides something different. If you wish you can search for either Dean Brook Waterfall or Murphy Falls for more views. I named it Murphy Falls after my late third beagle, Murphy, when I visited it for solace after having to let him free of his suffering. He was a sweetheart and and very special. ❤ ❤ ❤

      • I will. Beagles are lovely dogs, and Murphy was gorgeous, what wonderful ears! Nice to have a waterfall to remember him by. I’m more a cat owner, I remember all my cats very fondly, but I do like dogs too, Jack Russels in particular due to a childhood attachment. I understand that they are little terrors to keep!

      • My experience with Jack Daniels was via a dog that used to come around our neighborhood from a few streets away.. It lived to chase balls and would bring one from home for us to toss for him. 🙂

  2. Nice Steve! I like the slight blue tint of the image making it feel more cold!

  3. There is nothing like a waterfall in the winter. The icy edges are so pretty.

Simply delightful. I’d also love to see a detail of the icicle array in the lower right third. When I click on the image, it gets (only) about 25% larger.

The two forms at the top center look like the feet of an ice cow.
