  1. The dark oval at the bottom draws my eyes almost as much as the larger leaf at the top.

    In your recent photo of the tree-like frost, I’d wondered about the tiny bits of brown that appeared. Now, I think they might have been leaf remnants, like the ones shown here. What appeals to me most isn’t the leaf or the dark oval at the bottom, but the accordion-like ‘pleating’ in between.

    • The “pleating” was what attracted me initially and the leaf was added for a little extra interest. I did make a few frames of just the ice but preferred it with something else in the frame.
      Yes, those were leaf bits.
