Really nice contrast here! I love that hot image, the middle-layer tree draws me in.

I like that too. Was the hot one taken in early morning as well?

Sweet contrast, Steve. The warmth of the second looks so enticing right now!

Both very beautiful – and I’m finding the hot one very appealing too. 🙂

The color of the second is almost identical to some of our Saharan dust sunsets. I’ve never seen the dust and fog combined, of course; if I had to choose between the two, I’d sure take the fog. I really like the fringe of seedheads along the bottom. It’s a nice touch.

    • I’ve not seen dust sunsets but have witnessed a few smoke sunsets from the fires in the west the last few years which of course resemble the first image here. There was a quite large meadow in front of me and I had to decide how much to include. Stuff sticking up into the frame isn’t always desirable but I liked it here. They are both foggy landscapes but I am guessing you mean the second.
