12.25.2020 A winter’s greeting

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate.Β  Happy Kwanzaa too although a day early. May we all enjoy our holidays and look forward to a happier and more enjoyable year in 2021.

  1. Maybe our holidays should include Nature Day, though then we’d have to celebrate every day. Come to think of it, some of us are already doing that.

Take away the trees, the water, and the mountains, and our sunrise today looked like this; the color match was remarkable. On the other hand — I was curious about our temperatures. We’re at 40F just now, but when I went to check on your temperature, I was astonished. The NWS is reporting that you have 60F with rain and a flood watch. Is that so? Or has someone hacked their servers?

    • You read that right. We hit the low sixties and it’s been raining steadily since about 2 a.m., much to Bentley’s disappointment. He hates getting wet. We got some wind during the night but so far not nearly as bad as predicted. We are still under flood watch but our neck of the woods doesn’t flood much at all…as long as people clear the storm drains.
I was just watching a YT video on minimalism. You just described the technique. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Rob. I hope that you and Bumble had a fine day. Ours was a quiet day…but then most are. πŸ™‚ Nice to connect on FB.

      • Thank you Steve! Yes, nice and quiet now after the main event. We’re in tier 4 (almost) lockdown now so, quiet is more or less optionless for the foreseeable weeks / months. No problem for me but Bumble, but so good with it. Just like before, we’ll make the most of it, I’m certain. I hear the distant call of paint brushes and power tools…. Keep well, Steve and the best to you all. πŸ™
