12.07.2020 Water in Motion

Here’s one of many favorite Dean Brook cascades found a bit below Murphy Falls.

This is a re-edit from 2011 using all the new stuff.

It’s that foreground rock that really makes the image for me. The subtle greens and browns are nice, too. The water seems to have picked up just a hint of color from the moss (or whatever).

    • Yes, that is moss. The cascade certainly could stand on its own but having a nice foreground always helps. I did try to elevate over the rock but decided to incorporate it rather than eliminate. Thanks for agreeing.

There are so many faces of possibility in a place like this. No two moments are ever quite the same. The golden highlights of the horizontal rock surface and the little leaf at left are smiling at each other.
