Appropriately, it is foggy this morning so I am hopeful that there is an image out there with my name on it. But for now there is this memory with my name on it.

And when did you capture this memorable memory?

2014. Most often the date accompanies the image when you click it although it seems more a file number than a date. It was actually spring but bare trees are bare trees.

That’s a pleasant fantasy. Imagine if we were out there in nature and actually saw our name somewhere in the scene.

I’d think I’d died and was on my way to the next life.

The colors are perfect! What camera/lens combo did you use?

Thank you, Jerome! I shot this with a Canon 5D Mark II and in this case the lens was the 24-70 at 28mm. I now shoot the Mark IV.

Lovely scene, Steve. It seems so still and peaceful – I like seeing the bare tree silhouettes framed against that warm sky.

Thanks, Eliza! I don’t think this would be as appealing with the trees leafed out in silhouette.

Lavender and orange is such a pleasing combination, especially as a backdrop for those lovely trees. Funny — I assumed it was an autumn photo; it seems like an autumn sky.

As I mentioned to Gary, bare trees are bare trees so this would give that impression considering when I am posting it. There are certain color combinations that get repeated here and this is one. Thanks, Linda!
