    And a fine little bit it is. I can surely use a little bit of that serenity right about now, as we wait to hear how things will turn our regarding the possibility of four years of relative sanity.

    • It’s 4:30 a.m. here and the results for most of the state elections are in. But, despite Trump’s claim, the national election is not final. He has a slight lead, as far as I know at this time, but most of the early and mail-in ballots have not yet been counted and he is trying to get the counting stopped.

    The mix of birch and pine and that lovely golden yellow is making me go all nostalgic over autumn colour in Scotland. (Haven’t been back there for a good few years now.) Your photograph looks so like autumn there… ๐Ÿ™‚
