103020-2 Fog Friday

Another from the past.  This time 2008.

It was a winter wonderland out there today.  Unfortunately I was working, riding around making housecalls, and made no images.  Still a joy to see. I don’t expect much to linger into tomorrow but at least there should be water to photograph.

I suppose I can give up the Froggy Fridays, and go with some stunning landscapes for a while. You sure get some spectacular autumn colors.

That was sure a lovely shorescape. Where was that?

In one of your recent photos, it was the burgundy tree that served as a focal point. Here, the ‘white’ tree serves the same purpose. In these ‘walls of color,’ having that point of contrast seems to enliven the entire image.

Foggy Friday makes a change from Froggy Friday – both bring great photos!

  8. What a beautiful color display. We don’t get fog often here in dry Colorado and I do miss it.

  9. Beautiful work Steve, living on the Ohio River fog is almost a daily occurrence here, well at least it seems that way.

Those first snowfalls are so pretty…and this image has the look of film. Very nice.
