The shoreline rocks and plants make a nice dividing line between the trees and their reflections.

I was happy with the detail in those shore plants and their reflection as well. They finished the composition which would have been nice without them but much better with.

Oh my, how wonderful! Have you tried rotating it (180) and seeing how wrong it feels?

No, I haven’t with this one but have with others. The more mirror-like the water the better. Thank you.

Beautiful, what a nice selection of colors. Tip of the hat to Mother Nature

Thanks, Robert. The colors are great but it was the shape of the conifers that excited me.

The moment was silent, might have been a Sunday, and I am glad you enjoyed this. 🙂 Thanks, Lori.

Feels like the Northwoods … very nice!

Thanks, Denise. Good reason for that. I was in Northern Vermont when I made this image.

Did you make this image from the near shore? I’d like to think that you were in a canoe or a kayak, but whatever, what a memorable moment.

From a spit of land that was sticking out into the pond. I could just barely get out far enough on the end of it to line this up. I’ve never shot from a small watercraft. Just a whale watching excursion many years ago. I’d think that you see scenes like this in MN.
