  2. Swallowtails are hard to photograph because even when they take nectar they usually keep fluttering—kinda like us having dinner while running in place.

    • Thanks, Eliza. Btw, do you know this Liatris? Linda asked me the species and of course, 17 years later, I don’t know except that it doesn’t appear to be a New England native according to GoBotany.
