  4. Your title suddenly reminded me of the Pathmark supermarket chain that was big in New York and a few other northeastern states half a century ago. It became the largest and then the only supermarket in my home town on Long Island. Now the chain is down to a single store in Brooklyn.

  5. Before I read the comments I was immediately struck with a tactile sense in this particular picture. I see Iā€™m not the only one. It just feels good.

    • It always is although it’s not a very long one, Todd. From down below I’ve made some nice compositions of the Holyoke Mountain Range, often with the setting full moon.

    I love a foggy, misty day. I’m reminded that, when I was in Ireland, their Irish term for it translates as a “soft” day.
