I’ve posted many images from both Amethyst and Buffam Brooks but not this view where they meet. Buffam is to the left and Amethyst on the right. Beyond here Amethyst continues. Unseen to my right is a rock wall that I have yet to find a good composition for but will keep looking.
That confluence is very beautiful, I’m glad you’ve shown this one again.

Thanks, Liz. I am slightly confused about the location and a related story so there may be more to come.

It’s good to see that the twain did meet.

Yes, and I marked the spot.

I’ve had a post in my draft files for over a decade that’s needed a header image (among other things). This would do perfectly. If I can get myself together to finish the post, I’ll be back with a request to use this one. It’s as well-suited to my post as the pink lotus was to my little mid-summer post a couple of years ago.

I’d be honored. Ten years is quite a long time for something to be simmering on a back burner.

Your text prompted me to think that English might have the word confluential, along the lines of influential. It doesn’t, but a film production company has taken the name Confluential Content.

It’s funny how people come up with names for their businesses. I can see where the name in that case expresses a joining of subjects for a finished product.

And then there’s this weird guy named Mike who immediately thinks, “Pittsburgh in the woods.“

Alas, there are only two. I have to research it but there may actually be a tale regarding some “civilization” at this location.

Beautiful meeting! There is something so very magical you capture in these images so well, Steve. The spirit of nature.

Thanks, Pete. I do try to make the images expressive and appreciate that you see that.

Thanks, Eliza. That it is. I think it is possible that there is some historical interest here and have to try to learn about that and then share it.
