While I was shooting the moonset and maple yesterday, something said that I should take a look behind me.
I did go up on Pollux thinking that the view to the North over South Amherst might light up but had become so engrossed with the setting moon that I almost forgot to look over my shoulder. And, as you can see, we have leaves again.
Glad you turned around, Steve. Beautiful shot of a magnificent landscape and sky.

Pretty in pink.
Your title brought back a song I haven’t heard in decades.

I am too, Lori. I do usually look to see what’s behind me but got lost in the moment and am very happy something shouted at me. Every once in a while there is something in both directions…occasionally all four. 🙂 Glad that you enjoyed this.

Thanks for the reminder. As a kid I listened to Belafonte a lot. My folks had several records by him, most we’re 45’s.

The first thing that came to mind when I read your title was this song. The video’s a little weird, but I always have loved the song — and it seems to fit with your photo, particularly given the sky reference in the song.

That’s a song I was unfamiliar with, thanks. Since it was her channel, it seemed, I was surprised that all the comments were in Spanish.
