04.30.2020 Waterfall Intimacy

Yesterday’s image showing the whole of the waterfall is the view I have made often in the past.  But the closer looks are appealing on their own and I am sharing two today.

I made this image then waded a bit further into the pool for a closer look at the left side.

I did make a third look getting closer to the fan in the middle of the first shot but a preliminary assessing did not provide rave reviews. More work might make it better…we’ll see.

We are due for even more rain today and tomorrow and possibly even Saturday morning. I don’t think this location could be more overflowing than it was yesterday but there are two other spots near here that I have never walked but may offer new cascades to enjoy.  They lack trails so would require bushwacking which I don’t mind but again would require an uphill whack to return to the road. I might need a pack animal. Bentley said to not even suggest it.  🙂

  3. Steve, you give me a real problem. Very difficult this to decide, but I think I’ll go with number two because of my love of abstracts, which this approaches. That said, the first is a wonderful scene. One beagle is worth 1000 donkeys any time.

  4. Both beautiful frames, Steve but the first (possibly the landscape framing) is a true belter! Amazing!

The first is fresh and fine, and the second well worth wading for.
