Very beautiful. The leaf looks heraldic against the flower.

I like the way the stiff, embossed look of the leaf complements the more delicate flower. That’s one of my favorite shades of green, too. In my former apartment, I had a few walls painted in almost that color.

The flower itself is spectacular, but the texture of the leaf is fascinating and, maybe, worth further detailed study? It reminds me, somehow, of the scales of some ancient reptile.

An absolutely beautiful photograph, Steve. The white against the green is so nice, and the green against the reddish-browns, equally nice. It all comes together.
