04.15.2020-2 Hoping this brings another smile

I’ve been staring at this bloom thinking how perfect it is and wanting to shoot it.  But it was growing behind our rabbit wire fence and no way to do that.  So it became a cut flower for the kitchen by way of my FotodioX box.

It’s so perfect, it almost looks artificial — in a good way. It reminds me of the glass flower collection at Harvard.

    • I know and it has lasted that way for so long. I’ve been looking at it all week and finally decided to capture it for posterity. I had to choose between white or black for the background and the black just made it pop.

I can never see a daffodils without Wordsworths poem running through my mind, it was one of my father’s favourite poems also.
You’ve done it full justice Steve. If only they had a perfume…..
