Didn’t make it out of the house this morning, but I did four years ago.

Thank you, Dina. Fortunately it is a place I get to visit often even without the colorful sky.

Thanks, Carol. I hope you are home and safe as well, although I am sure Costa Rica (I think that’s where you were) was a delight.

Thank you, Steve. Yes, so glad we got in our trip to Costa Rica in February, before this new reality hit. I neglected to mention that I think I remember enjoying and commenting on it when you posted this photo originally!☺️

The light to the north from this spot often gets a pink hue at sunrise.

Thanks, Gary. The hills and valleys here are wonderful and played a part in the decision to take the land for the reservoir.

The layers in these North Quabbin views always appeal. I remember counting them in one of your photos in this area, and being amazed at the intricacy of the landscape. The shell-pink sky is the perfect foil.

We can thank the grinding of the last glacier for creating this fantastic landscape. I guess you took the “countless” out of describing the lay of the land. I’ve never counted them but guess i will next time. That shade of pink happens to the north from here often. Just the edge of sunrise.

I may not make it out today, or if I do, I may not go far. It’s good to have these memories, and to be able to easily find images from the same day in another year. This one is so peaceful.

Yes, Lightroom does make it a lot easier than scanning through Bridge. I am glad that you can see the peace in this. Making images is enjoyable but experiencing the quiet and peace one finds at this time of day is the real reason to be there. Thanks, Lynn.
