Sure do hope tomorrow morning has  a little of this left.

This was supposed to be rain about now but has stayed all snow. If the forecast is right and we get snow until about 2 a.m. then that’ll be exciting.  Nice sticky stuff.  🙂

  2. Lucky you to have another shot at snow, and sticky snow at that. Somebody’s gonna have fun tomorrow morning.

    • We’ll see. It’s just starting to get light out here and the trees don’t look at all like this. I can hear the snow melt dripping on the window sills. Travel may be required.

Sticky stuff: we used to call it good-packing snow. So make a little snowman–or at least toss a few snowballs!

I can feel the crisp chill in the air. Beautiful scene, one I imagine being very quiet and calming.

    • It was quiet. Not a lot of folks out although a few solo walkers were making their way up and down the street. I wish it had been a little chillier overnight as most was off the trees by morning.

Isn’t it pretty? All those kids stuck at home will have fun playing in it tomorrow!

  6. Lovely. The forest backdrop makes a very nice setting for the little tree, looks like a storybook illustration.

  7. Lovely, Steve. Winter has passed us by again and so has the snow, which I kind of miss.

  8. Evocative. It’s a scene I’d more expect at the beginning of winter. But then it’d be fluffy.

Lovely, I saw this coming down, but didn’t have a chance to photograph it. I was busy working from home, as I have for almost two weeks now.

    • Usually this happens for me when it is dark and I don’t really make a good image exposure. Work is inconvenient that way whether at home of otherwise. If this situation spells doom for our store I guess that won’t be an issue photographically any longer. But rice may be a larger part of our diet.

The little “snow shadow” beneath the tree is perfect. You were lucky to get those darker trees as a background, too. Everything is just right; it’s a memorable image.

Fresh snow is a beautiful thing in the Spring! I enjoy seeing your corner of the world and also hearing about your adventures in it, and your observations.
