01.20.2020 Freshly Fallen

The predicted snowfall, although not as much as forecast, did cover things with a nice clean coating.  Once in a while one sets out with a distinct image in mind and Nature smiles upon the photographer.

Pristine seems a good word for conditions yesterday morning.

  1. Pristine is good. I remember from childhood not wanting to ruin newly fallen snow by walking across it.

I remember loving such fresh snow when it arrived in February or March. By that time, enough shoveling, road cleaning, and general melting had created a bit of a mess, and fresh snow covered it all, just one more time.

The icy parts are almost digging into the water, like feet. Yes, pristine, beautiful!
