As I looked at it, what came to me was – As above, so below, even tho it’s not really accurate in this case, just the feeling of. Less is SO much more.

The reflections are lower in the frame so your response seems apt to me. Sometimes it’s best to keep things simple. Thank you.

The image of a bow and a fallen arrow seemed so clear to me that Longfellow’s “The Arrow and the Song” came to mind. The curve of the stem and its reflection is remarkably like that of a handmade longbow.

I agree completely. When I first saw it I thought it resembled a Japanese long bow. I love these sorts of minimalist photographs.

This was basically an attempt at simplification of a busy group of reeds in a pond and finding just a couple in isolation. I wish I could say it was a practice of meditation but that was an afterthought.

Longfellow times two today…well yesterday and today. I saw the larger as a bow and the smaller also but the image of an arrow seems more appropriate.
